President and Chairman of the Board
- CNDA is the regulatory authority for naturopathic doctors in Alberta. Tenure priorities: expand scope of practice, repair the college’s financial position, and improve governance. The latter two are accomplished; the first is in its final stages.
- Led a three-year project with the Alberta health ministry toward a large expansion of naturopathic scope of practice, including pharmaceutical prescribing and advanced imaging. Now in final stages.
- Instrumental in overhauling the regulatory college: restructured management, reformed governance, and reprioritized investments.
- Part of the team that grew the college’s reserve funds to a sustainable level, securing its long-term financial footing.
- As Chairman of the Executive Committee, ran the team responsible for college finances, oversaw budgeting, and worked directly with auditors.
- Chair council meetings, maintain direct communication with the management team, and represent the college with government and at industry forums.
